Skybound Therapies and Applied Behaviour Analysis
Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) is the science of human behaviour. It consists of scientific principles which explain how people learn behaviours and skills.
The principles of ABA can be applied to teach any socially significant behaviour, such as toileting, communication, academic skills, social skills, community skills and many others.
The science can also be applied to reduce behaviours that challenge, for example: aggression, property destruction, self-injury, feeding and sleep issues.

We provide the full team required to support your needs; Behaviour Technicians, Supervisors and Consultants for Applied Behaviour Analysis or Positive Behaviour Support Programmes. We can provide a team to work in your home, school and community.
Our multidisciplinary 5 day intensives, have been running in our purpose built therapy centre for more than 10 years. We focus on thorough assessment and teaching of the skills most important to the individual and their family. Shorter intensives available by request.
We provide consultancy across the UK and abroad. Our Board Certified Behaviour Analysts undergo extensive post-qualification training in a variety of evidence-based procedures, including Verbal Behaviour, PEAK Relational Training System, and ACT.
We can provide a unique package to address the needs of the individual, their family and context. We can also provide one-off services for assessing behaviours and developing intervention plans, training packages for schools or residential settings and expert witness reports.
Our Specialist Services
Skybound prides itself on highly trained staff who can deliver effective interventions. Our specialist services are delivered by experienced members of our team who are dedicated to helping individuals achieve their potential in fun and engaging ways.
Our Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist is an experienced OT who can focus on a wide range of areas including sensory, gross motor, fine motor and activities of daily living.
This is essential for anyone displaying challenging behaviour. This assessment will help people understand why the behaviour is happening and what we can do to reduce the behaviours.
Our Highly Specialist Speech & Language Therapist is a specialist in assessments, developing functional speech and using Augmentative & Alternative Communication systems.
ACT helps to manage uncomfortable thoughts and feelings that may be impacting on your quality of life. Anyone that may experience anxiety, phobias, stress and more can benefit from ACT.
